Didn’t make COLLABORATE 18? We’ve got you covered. The Redfaire International team hit Las Vegas, meeting customers, partners, and Oracle’s JD Edwards leadership team. One of the key sessions the team attended was Lyle Ekdahl’s keynote, covering the latest JD Edwards Roadmap.
This session provided an overview of strategic product direction, helping the JDE community understand how to get the most from their ERP. There were many exciting announcements encouraging customers to ‘Stay Current’ and follow the path of Oracle’s continuous delivery. Key announcements included new ERP innovations, improved personalized user experience, digital technologies and Cloud strategies to help customers in their Digital Transformation journeys.
Oracle also renewed their statement that the latest 9.2 version of JDE will be supported until at least 2028. This timeline should not be interpreted as the end of support for the product line, as over the years, Oracle has shown continuous innovation around JD Edwards, and is committed to review and move this date as appropriate.
Attendees learnt about the variety of innovation in the latest Enterprise One Tools Release 184.108.40.206. Customers can expect additional enhancements; including notification framework, new orchestration features, and operational simplification tools.
This is just a small portion of what we have learned at COLLABORATE 18. Still want to learn more about JD Edwards' new releases and innovations? Take a look at the latest JDE roadmap and check the investment strategy, support timelines, and cloud strategy.
The message the team took away from C18 is clear. Oracle is heavily investing in JDE operational simplification, ERP Modernization, and Digital Transformation to help and support customers in their journey to become a digital enterprise.
